The website "Beware of Shares!" was launched in late 2007. The idea to create the website appeared while the author (his name is Sergey Balakovskiy, for short – Oinga) was thinking about how to make this strategy of presenting such an interesting activity as trading shares (or trading, in case this word is more agreeable to you) on the Russian stock exchange, and what the attitude to this activity should be.
The author had a thought that it could be nice, if people involved in trading stocks at least once in a while, or just interested in the stock market, had an opportunity to share opinion with the colleagues, and also write about experience and developments in this industry.
The project is aimed at giving no imposed views to traders. On the contrary, the author acts in accord with the logo - «First, do no harm!" Thus the concept of the website has limitations regarding the style of the content meaning to avoid instructive sentences. It is evident, that in the Internet there are a lot of possibilities to exchange information about various spheres of life. The format of the website is good in that its author is forming the concept and determines the structure and information in a way to correspond most to his personal interests.
On the other side, the author hopes that the materials of the project will be appealing to all others. On the website one can find a few information sections.
The data about the current situation on the Russian stock exchange (the section News of Stock Market), including the observations of the author (the Diary), that are posted at least once in 24 hours 7 days a week without holidays. This content does not claim to be academic, as the author has no degree in the sphere. We should actually mention that the author is a newbie. That is why most stories seem humorous and even sarcastic.
Those who love charts can see them right here depicting the main Russian chips, that are traded on MICEX, as well as the index MICEX itself. Here one can also familiarize oneself with the materials written by vet analytical experts, guru, commenting on the prospects of the Russian stock market. Moreover, there is information about guru – the citizens of so-called Guru Country. Guru, meaning analytical experts and masters make their analytical reviews and forecasts with the highest purposes of serving to us, usual people.
In the section Experience Exchange one can read information about how it is possible to combine full-time job and trading Russian stocks. It is exciting to follow the articles in the section Investments dwelling upon general questions of investing in shares, trading online etc. and of course, there are a lot of jokes and funny stories. Some people are upset about the content of the stories, though the author always finds ways out of problematic situations.
